Customer Service Assistant – $60 – 70K plus super

The Role

As Customer Service Assistant, your main duties will be to support the Key Account Managers with the view to moving into a leadership role in the future.

Your main duties will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Build relationships with key contacts within set portfolio and internally across the business
  • Developing an understanding of client requirements for all accounts
  • Producing quotes and following client orders and deliveries to completion
  • Assisting key account managers with all administration tasks
  • Assisting operations department with document requests
  • Updating databases and following compliance procedures

The Person:

In order to be successful in the application of Customer Service Assistant you will have:

  • Previous experience within the freight industry is essential
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • A self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • A team player
  • Ability to work to KPI’s within a deadline driven environment
  • Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • A proven track record in relationship building
