The Opportunity
They have an opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join their team in a full time, permanent role.
Based in Altona and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for AP/AR workflows and any ad-hoc administrative assistance as required.
Liaising directly with stakeholders across the wider business and employees, you will be required to be a strong communicator with high attention to detail and a customer focused mindset.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team and have the opportunity to build strong relationships within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and responding to the AP/AR inbox
- Supplier creating and management
- Reconciliations of GL
- Checking workflow to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Processing high-volumes of invoices
- Assisting with financial reporting including End of Month procedures
- Adhoc duties as required by stakeholders and team members
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- At least 2 years of experience in AP/AR
- Advantageous if knowledgeable in XERO
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate skills across MS Office products
