AccountAbility are pleased to be working with a global logistics company based in Sydney CBD. This well respected organisation is looking to recruit a senior payroll officer on a two month contract via Accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process approved timesheets for payroll.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Awards to correctly handle allowances, overtime, and various pay codes.
  • Generate and manage wage reports.
  • Secure approvals for wage reports.
  • Make corrections and adjustments to pays in line with EAs/Awards.
  • Set up new employee records and manage employee changes.
  • Calculate and prepare termination payments.
  • Address and resolve payroll queries from site personnel.
  • Draft calculations for manual payments and process approved redundancy payments.
  • Handle child support deductions.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to work in a small team in a high volume and time-sensitive environment
  • Strong analysis, interpretation and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Functional understanding and experience with iChris/Chris 21 payroll
