Payroll Manager

  • $150,000 - $160,000 + Super + Benefits | CBD | 2 Days WFH
  • Mix of BAU, Projects and a be key part in stakeholder management across the company
  • Manage a team of 8 with an excellent 2IC reporting to the CFO

Be a voice for the payroll team - Oversee BAU as well as working with the CFO on identifying and actioning process improvements as the company grows!

I'm proud to exclusively partner with an amazing Payroll team in a Software/Technology focused business in Sydney CBD of which we have worked with for years and a leader in their space. This is a tenured, friendly, and hard-working team with a fantastic culture and somewhere that really focuses on strong customer service and relationships. They are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager with fresh ideas and strong leadership skills to lead from the front and work collaboratively with Finance and HR.

THE ROLE

  • Responsible for overseeing your team and pays of 2000+ employees
  • Mentoring and developing your team with ongoing training and support
  • Reporting and Analysis, assisting with PAYG, Super Calcs
  • Managing escalations and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with CFO with regards to process improvements navigating an large upcoming growth

THE PERSON

  • Payroll Management experience and strong leadership skills
  • Ability to roll your sleeves up and assist where needed with BAU but also Project work
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and someone who also doesnt take themselves too seriously, this is a very active, collaborative and social team
  • Full working rights as this is a permanent role
