Working with an organisation in Altona, we are looking for an experienced end to end payroll officer to join the team on a permanent basis.
This role would suit someone with 2-4 years of experience running complex end to end payroll processes over several EBA's and a person who is passionate about payroll and growing their skills in this field.
The role:
- Effectively processing end to end payroll across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs
- Facilitating payroll adjustments for salary increments, setting up new hires, calculation and processing of termination payment and other deductions
- Assist with month end process and reconciliations, including information for superannuation, payroll tax and workcover payments
- Provide timely, accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers.
The right candidate will have:
- 2-4 years end to end payroll experience
- Working with pay runs of over 300 employees
- Experience using any larger well-known payroll system, e.g SAP, Chris21, ADP, Preceda, PayGlobal etc
- Experience using multiple awards and the ability to interpret EBAs
- A passion for payroll and a want to learn and grow your skillset
- High attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Great communication skills and the ability to form good internal relationships
- Intermediate excel skills
The company:
- Located in Altona, with parking onsite
- 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
- Salary depending on experience between $85,000-$90,000 + super
